    The properties of manganese steel can vary in various cross sections.
    With optimised process control best mechanical properties can be achieved at low cost.
    Resulting from complete process control, the mechanical properties are constantly good in nearly all sections up to 8 inches ( 200 mm ). Also very big castings with great differences in cross sections can be produced without difficulties.

    Optimised melts are less sensitive to hot tearing.

    The calculation of the cost / benefit ratio shows the economical advantages of this technology.
